2016 Spring MBA Fellows Program
Happy New Year! This January, the CITRIS Foundry is again recruiting Berkeley-Haas students for its MBA Fellows Program. CITRIS Foundry is a University of California applied tech incubator that supports early stage startups developing disruptive solutions for society’s pressing needs. Foundry MBA Fellows will have an opportunity to work directly with startups on projects ranging from product design to go-to-market strategy, business development, and operations. Projects last from January until May, require a commitment of 3-4 hours per week, and earn each Fellow 1 academic credit from the Engineering School. Startup companies include:
• SolFox – accelerating the solar revolution with data science
• CalWave – harnessing the power of the ocean to create electricity
• Ayar Labs – using light to share data in computers
• DOT. – the world’s first physical push notification
• FrootBot – providing mobile sensing data for fruit orchard farmers
• New Sun Road – addressing global energy poverty in rural developing economies
• Nosocom – building technologies to make hospitals safer for patients and providers
Applications will open on Friday, Jan. 29th. Apply here then. Questions? Contact Kyle Clark
