Franklin Rice

Franklin is a Junior Electrical Engineering and Computer Science major who enjoys combining tech and entrepreneurship. He's a project manager for the Machine Learning @ Berkeley club, and does research in the Berkeley Emergent Space Technologies robotics lab. He studied Entrepreneurship abroad in France last summer, and hosted an augmented reality hackathon last Fall. He races with the Cal Triathlon team.
Travis Brashears

Travis Brashears is an undergraduate Engineering Physics major at UC Berkeley and the co-investigator on Professor Lubin’s DE-STAR, DEEP-IN, and related projects. He is the co-founder of Directed Energy, LLC, a company dedicated to developing the technology of directed energy for applications ranging from photonic power transmission to relativistic propulsion. Now at UC Berkeley, he works on bridging the gap between engineering and business students through the Berkeley Entrepreneurship Association.

Marcos Mena-Brena

Founder & CEO at Geekbears. We have partnered up with dozens of startups and Fortune 500 companies around the country to help them plan, design, develop and launch their web applications using Machine Learning techniques. Co-founded SchooLinks, an online platform simplifying college planning for high schoolers. We secured funding (1.3 M) and relocated to Austin, Texas.
